On Collecting: My Pinterest Boards
I’m a list person.
Consider this the first.
Layer Slayer
Warmth, texture, and being from the Midwest
Layer Slayer is exactly what it sounds like: a board dedicated to top-tier layering. As a Midwest girl, layering is all about strategy.
This board is full of sweaters, shirts, scarves, jackets of varying thicknesses, and socks that are absolutely non-negotiable.
Layering accessories matters just as much as clothing here. Scarves, belts, bags, glasses — each piece adds another sentence to the outfit. The goal isn’t perfection; it’s intention. Looking like you dressed for the weather and for yourself.
My Skin Glows With Envy
Manifestation, but make it visual
Yes, it’s self-centered. I’m aware. It’s also manifestation, babes.
This board is filled with images of beautiful women whose faces resemble or remind me of my own — not in a comparison way, but in a recognition way. It’s about claiming what already feels familiar and letting it expand.
Every time I add to this board, it feels like reinforcing a story: what my skin looks like, what it will continue to look like, how I see myself reflected back. Like all my boards, it’s less about aspiration and more about alignment.
The Perfect Host
My love language is preparation
This might be my favorite board of all.
The PERFECT Host is a compilation of everything — tips, tricks, table settings, arrangements, menus, lighting ideas, and those small thoughtful details that make hosting feel generous rather than stressful.
It’s not about being fancy. It’s about being considerate. Anticipating needs. Making people feel welcomed, comfortable, and a little bit delighted. I could scroll this board for hours and still find something new.
Hosting, to me, is a form of care — and this board is proof of how seriously I take that.
On The Street
Anything and everything goes, street style
This is my street style bible.
On the Street is where I collect outfits I’d be thrilled to be caught dead in — slingbacks with baggy jeans, oversized trousers with a soft top, looks that feel lived-in but deliberate. It’s less about copying and more about absorbing.
Accessories are everything here. Bandanas, bags, glasses. Lace next to leather. Satin against corduroy. Mixing textures, eras, and moods until something clicks. These outfits feel personal, not precious — like someone just stepped outside and happened to look incredible.
If there’s one rule this board reinforces, it’s that style comes from combination, not individual pieces.
Above Average
For when you don’t know what the vibe is
Above Average is for those situations where you don’t quite know what to wear — when dressing up feels like too much, but being casual feels lazy or boring.
These are elevated, versatile outfits that strike a balance: comfortable but intentional, relaxed but undeniably chic. The kind of look that works across settings and always seems to earn a compliment.
Accessories quietly carry the weight here, pulling everything together without screaming for attention. This board is about ease — looking like you tried just enough, even if you didn’t.
